In recognition of Veterans Day, our National Junior Honor Society students at Attales Middle School recently visited American Legion Post 28 and delivered coffee and doughnuts to veterans from both the American Legion and VFW Memorial Post 9462.

The organization also donated banners to each organization.

Later that morning, the students headed over to Veterans Park to spruce up the area ahead of Absecon's Veterans Day service on Friday, Nov. 11.

The students enjoyed hearing from the veterans about their service, learning about each of the veterans organizations in our community, and giving back!
