Halloween 2024 Guidelines and Information

We are looking forward to celebrating the Halloween holiday. Below are the guidelines our students will need to follow if they plan to dress up for Halloween on Thursday, Oct. 31.

Any students not following the guidelines will be addressed through our Code of Conduct. Your cooperation will make the day safe and fun for everyone:

 

 

  • Marsh Students will change into their costumes at school prior to the parade.
  • Attales Students may wear costumes to school.
  • Costumes are optional.
  • Students may also wear pajamas to school. 
  • Please make sure your child has appropriate shoes for recess and gym.
  • Clothing/Costumes that inhibit movement are NOT permitted (i.e. inflatable).
  • Students must be appropriately dressed or covered at all times (no clothing that is indecent, inappropriate for school, or offensive, etc).
  • Weapons or props that serve as weapons are NOT permitted. 
  • Nothing can cover the face (i.e. no costume masks, etc.).
  • Only limited face paint/makeup is permitted and all paint/makeup products must be applied at and remain at home. Students must be recognizable at all times. Colored hair is permitted, but hairspray cans must be applied at and remain at home.

MARSH HALLOWEEN PARADE AND PARTY DETAILS 

  1. The parade will begin at 1 p.m. for PK-4th Grade students. 
  2. The students will parade around the Marsh field. 
  3. In the event of rain, the parade will be canceled. 
  4. PTO sponsored parties will be held in the classroom at 1:45-2:30 p.m.
  5. PTO has notified parents that will assist with the Halloween party. 
  6. If you wish to sign your child out of school after the parade or party you must do so through the Marsh Main Office.
