Attales Students of the 2nd Marking Period recognized for the 25-26 school year

Our Attales Middle School Students of the 2nd Marking Period were recognized last week for their efforts to exemplify the four core values of Attales: Accountability, Growth, Teamwork and Family during the school year.

Congratulations to:
8th Grade: Marissa B., Naji H.
7th Grade: Aaliyah G., Arabella M., Owen M., Marielise M., Carson B.
6th Grade: Emma O., Brithany F., Caleb C.
5th Grade: Tahirha V., Journee B., Sienna M., Jaden V.

When teachers make nominations for Students of the Marking Period, they share a few details about how that student is contributing positively to the class culture or to their own educational journey. Here are some examples of the nominations made by our teachers for students this marking period:

Mrs. Sharpley wrote about Tahirha, “What really makes this student shine is her character. She is caring, respectful, and someone I can always count on to do the right thing—even when no one is watching.”

Ms. Maul said Journee’s presence “makes the classroom a welcoming and supportive place, and she has a strong, positive impact on our overall class culture.”

Mrs. Friel wrote this about Aaliyah: “This person is a reflective student who is able to take accountability and reset towards the goals they have set for themselves and the school year.”

On Wednesday, Feb. 18, these students were treated to lunch at Seaview Hotel, A Destination by Hyatt, in Galloway. We extend a big thank you to Seaview for their continued partnership and support in recognizing and celebrating the students of Absecon Public Schools!
