Absecon Public Schools is pleased to announce the district has been awarded an $8,461 Safety Grant from the New Jersey Schools Insurance Group for security upgrades in its buildings.

Since 2009, as part of its commitment to help member schools keep dollars in the classroom, the NJSIG has awarded its members $44 million in safety grants.

NJSIG’s Safety Grant program provides funding to members to invest in risk-management projects and safety-related improvements. This year, NJSIG has awarded a total of $4.6 million in Safety Grants to its members throughout the state.

NJSIG is a school board insurance group providing property, casualty and workers compensation insurance to public and charter schools throughout the state.
