Marsh Celebrates "Read Across America"

Marsh school students celebrated Read Across America with a week full of fun and exciting activities. They wore their favorite hats, wacky pajamas, crazy socks and school colors on the special theme days. The students participated in "round robin" reading, buddy reading, and even reading to Skye and Hope! The classes decorated their doors in fun Dr. Seuss themes and the first graders sampled some green eggs and ham! We concluded our week by singing "Happy Birthday" to Dr. Seuss, and by announcing the winners of the "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" goldfish cracker guessing game which was Mrs. Grdic's 2nd grade class! In addition, we announced that the winner of the door decorating contest was Mr. Cavileer's 2nd grade class. Congratulations!
