PLEASE NOTE: Several parents reported issues connecting their student’s school-issued chromebook to their personal wifi at home. As of about 11am today (Tuesday 3/17/20), a Google Admin setting was adjusted on all school-issued chromebooks, which will now allow chromebooks to connect to personal wifi at home. If you had issues connecting to your wifi before this point OR you have not yet tried to connect to your wifi, please complete the following steps:
Power Down Chromebook: Hold the Power Button until the chromebook shuts down
Close chromebook lid and wait 60 seconds
Open chromebook lid and a window will pop up asking you to connect to your internet
Choose your wifi connection point (and enter your password if you have one)
A white screen should pop up which reads “Please Wait” and has a spinning blue line image
If this “Please Wait” spinning blue image screen seems to be taking longer that you feel it should, click on the “Back” button which should be located in the bottom left corner of this white pop up screen
The chromebook should now bring you to your student’s Google login screen. Have your student enter his/her username/password.
You should now be able to access internet and your student’s Google Classroom
If you still have issues connecting your chromebook to your personal wifi at home, please come to the back of the school by the bus loop and cafeteria doors tomorrow (3/18/20) between 9-11am and ask for Mike Morris.
